The cottage had a hot tub... after some days it was very much needed, I've not done this much exercise in ages!
The scenery was beautiful, and the weather even obliged on occasion.
Though you can see from this picture how much it had rained... yes that is a bike nearly underwater.
Oh and it snowed... lots.. enough that we were wading thigh deep later in the day, that got boring pretty quickly so we cut that walk short. It's not meant to snow this much in October!
I also found when I uploaded these photos a couple more climbing shots from the last club trip away, I'll put those up soon!
I am just going to give some advice, something which I seem to do an awful lot at the moment, starting to feel like an oracle. I suggest you inform father that man created hoses and brushes to clean bikes, throwing them to the river is no way to rediscover simpler times. Either that or he's had something of a paddy and simply thrown it to fishes in anger.... Looks like a good holiday. We had an awesome outdoor, coal fueled hot tub in Scotland which I am almost convinced is hot enough to cook eggs in....may try that next time actually.....

ReplyDeletePS. Dad did clean my brothers bike( I was riding his due to saddle discomfort issues!), no way was it going back in my car in the state it was in!)
waw. now I need to go to Waels on holiday... Its beuatifull... I love hiking (walking in nature) Normaly I go to sweeden to wissit my aunt, and take week long walks there with tent's love that...
