Now my Dad doesn't read here, but my Mum does, and I'm sure she'll show this to him when they get back from holiday.
My Dad is wonderful, we may have our disagreements but that is because we are too alike, we both have the same personality traits that mean that we sometimes find it hard to get along. However I love him dearly, and I know he loves me to, and is proud of everything that I've done.
Between him and my Mum they have taught me so many amazing things, given me chance to see so many wonderful places, and made me realise that life is better if you try and help other people instead of just looking out for yourself.
Thanks Dad.
Wonderful advice, a great life's lesson: to share and help others. You have a great Dad!

Your leaf motif blanket is gorgeous! Congratulations on being so closed to finished with university and your teaching degree! My computer blocked the photos of the sailing trip to Greece, but I'll check back from another connection later to see them. I am a bit obsessed with the U.K., so I'll definitely be back to follow along.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to have a great dad, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteI'm dropping my for NaComLeavMo - hi. :)
And I think I'll add you to my google reader ... I love reading blogs from around the world!
Dear Katie,
ReplyDeleteYou have acted on your dad's advice -- life is better if you try and help other people instead of just looking out for yourself -- simply by the comment you left today. Thanks, sweetie. You're a great reflection of your father. (NCLM)
